International day of democracy 

Note that says "vote": every vote has equal weight in a democracy.

International Day of Democracy is celebrated on September 15, 2016. In 2007 the United Nations General Assembly resolved to observe 15 September as the International Day of Democracy - with the purpose of promoting and upholding the principles of democracy - and invited all member states and organizations to commemorate the day in an appropriate manner that contributes to raising public awareness. 

  World Earth Day 2016 Date

World Health Day 2016 would be celebrated by the people all over the world on 22^nd of April, at Friday.
There is reason behind the title of this celebration as “Earth Day”. It was suggested by number of people in 1969 and the idea came with “birthday” as Earth day (rhyming word of birthday).

In honor of the fiftieth anniversary of human space flight, by its resolution A/RES/65/271 of 7 April 2011 the General Assembly declared 12 April as the International Day of Human Space Flight.    

     

The beginning of spring marks a time of lighthearted pranking around the world. 

 St. Patrick's Day or the Feast of St. Patrick is observed on March 17 as a religious and cultural celebration. It honors Ireland's patron St. Patrick. The date marks the traditional death of the saint. In the early 17th century, it was made an official Christian feast day observed by the Church of Ireland, the Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church, and Lutheran Church.

Valentine’s Day

Each year on February 14^th, many people exchange cards, candy, gifts or flowers with their special “valentine.” The day of romance we call Valentine’s Day is named for a Christian martyr and dates back to the 5^th century, but has origins in the Roman holiday Lupercalia.
